Attendance & Cancellation Policy and Refund

Notice times for scheduling changes impact the behind-the-scenes work of your therapy. Please be mindful of the following:

• Sessions will be billed to you in full if notice of absence is not provided within at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.
• Each sessions have 45 minutes length, if client needs or want to extend and I happen to have that availability, will be charged by the minute based on the 45 minutes equivalent fee.
• For every client per year, I will allow one sick day cancellation a year as long as it is informed by the day or night before the day of the session.
• To cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.
• Late cancellations or missed appointments without prior notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the full session cost.
• In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
• I do not refund sessions already attended or cancelled last minute.
• The only situation I refund clients for session is when by any reason, the client was charged incorrectly by myself or due to a technological error.
• You will be charged for the session in the day of the session, sometimes just before or after the session.

Portal

• All charges and Super Bills, session reminders and intake documentation will be done through my practice management software systems. You will receive a separate welcome email that will allow you to login to a client portal to read and sign the consent documents prior to our meeting. Details regarding billing, policies, and cancellation policies will be found in the consent forms and /or informed in our first session. Question regarding insurance reimbursement from out of network provider should be addressed directly with the insurance. I will provide a super bill to clients to submit to their insurance upon request. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me any questions you have during our first session or before the session.
