Background Profile
I am a dedicated mental health professional with a strong foundation in psychology and specialized training in trauma therapy, anxiety disorders, and attachment-based disorders. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology in New York, where I developed a deep understanding of human behavior and mental processes. My passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychology in San Francisco, where I further honed my clinical skills.
While in San Francisco, I worked at a domestic violence agency, focusing on trauma recovery and providing support to families experiencing severe emotional and psychological distress. This experience allowed me to witness firsthand the devastating impact of trauma on individuals and families, and I became committed to helping them heal and rebuild their lives.
Additionally, I trained at a renowned clinic specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and attachment-based disorders. Here, I had the opportunity to work with both children and adults, developing expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address complex emotional challenges.
Since earning my Master’s degree in 2016, I have continued to advance my knowledge and training in the field. I hold certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I have also received extensive training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy, which focuses on healing the internal conflicts that can affect one’s relationships and overall well-being.
Today, I specialize in combining IFS and EMDR to treat trauma, emotional triggers, and relational issues. My approach is grounded in compassion and a deep understanding of the complexities of human experience, and I work collaboratively with clients to create lasting change and healing.
Continuously educating myself on effective psychological approaches and interventions, I integrate evidence-based methods with developmental neuroscience to better assist my clients.
I firmly believe in our capacity for healing and cultivating transformative behaviors. I find deep fulfillment in my work, caring for my clients and being an integral part of their transformational journeys.
